So you are a novice tennis player?  Well we all start somewhere and it definitely takes practice to get better.  Here are some simple tennis tips to improve your tennis game and move past that beginner status.

Firstly, don't worry about making mistakes. We have to mess up to get better.  If you shoot the ball into the net hit the ball higher next time. Don't to complicate things.  Follow through.  Keep the ball in play and make adjustments as you go.  Things as this will come naturally and you will improve through practice.

Secondly.  Don't try too hard.  Relax and have fun.  If you press you will get frustrated and tennis will not be nearly as fun as it should be.  It takes time to get the required skills to play tennis.

Thirdly.  MOVE!  No matter what is happening on the other side of the court, constantly be moving. Always be on your toes.  Standing still will only make your movements more stiff and you will have a harder time getting to the ball and making a good tennis shot. Keep Moving!

Finally. Be patient.  You will not be a tennis star overnight.  The game will come slowly, but consistently.  The more you play tennis with a good attitude the faster your tennis game will improve.
